WELCOME TO STERLING!
The city of Sterling -- located in Sanpete County, Utah,
midway between Manti and Gunnison -- is the home of Palisade
State Park and Six Mile Canyon. For many years, the
people here have worked
together to bring this little town to where it is today.
Although many maps do not show Sterling, the ones that do,
show it at the center of Utah; hence the phrase, “Sterling is
the Heart of Utah.” The people of Sterling feel this is
true in more ways than one. Not everyone around Sterling is
part of the city limits, but everyone feels a sense of unity.
Whether in the city limits or not, everyone is a vital part of
the Sterling community.
